PowerMetricsPro – Why it started?

After over a decade working in various aspects of Operations Excellence and digitalization, I found myself at a professional crossroads on the day my third child was born. Realizing the need for change and contemplating where I could contribute the most value, I decided to establish PowerMetricsPro. I reached out to my partner, Siratun, to join me in transforming how reports are processed and how data reaches management—much like we had done at a previous company.

Combining the continuous improvement & business performance with automation skills have given us a unique opportunity to offer our clients the capabilities that are not easy to find and combine at the same time. This combination of skills has been proved very successful when I lead the Global operation to digitalize the biggest ULD fleet in the world. By automating the Dashboard from multiple company systems and databases we have been able to have the information on our fingertip, enabling to change operational processes, improve stock distributions and availability, optimize logistics cost and improving purchasing cost by providing accurate forecasting and visibility to the suppliers. In a matter of months, we saw operational KPIs improving double digit month over month.

Automation by itself can save time to finish a specific repetitive task faster, with the development of AI the scope where automation can be used is increasing fast as well. But automation true value is when is used integrating it in multiple different processes of an organization. When is orchestrated and governed in a way that it combines the improvement of data and processes to reach a superior efficiency in the operation and business results. Our expertise in embedding automation within Lean Six Sigma improvements and process redesigns sets us apart, leading to transformative results.

Small or big, process automation is a transformation, and we all know that a transformation is not easy not only from a technical part but also from people part, and here is where the organizations culture makes the difference. So, we decided to help companies and leaders who have the mindset of continuous improvement but lack the skills of combined automation and Lean Six sigma. By providing both programmatic automation transformation project support as well as outsourced automation function support packages. Both are design to support the companies to automate specific tasks and processes but with our automation packages also to bring in the continuous improvement into the function.

At PowerMetricsPro we aim to leverage the existing automation tools and our business improvement knowledge and put it to use. There are so many good tools and automation capabilities, yet the usage of it is limited in many organizations and/or functions and all is due to the lack of understanding its capability and lack of programmatic automation skills. Even when the skills exist these are limited and concentrated in the top tier level management where the budgets are available. However, the value of automation brings more value to middle level management, on specific functional operation. Teke for example Excel VBA, it exists for decades yet is underused in many organizations. First Robotic Process Automation system started 10 years ago, but very few leaders know how it works and where it can be applied. There is a lack of knowledge of what automation can do and here is another goal that we want to achieve at PowerMetricsPro is to ensure more businesses understand the power of automation it can bring to operation improvement. We are like the bridge that connect and cover both operational continuous improvement and automation, bringing them together to unlock the organizations efficiency.

With the latest advancement of AI, programmatic automation or Robot Process Automation (RPA) as it’s known is getting more into the organizations skin, and more and more leaders try to understand how can be used practically to solve the issues they are facing every day at the work. RPA have evolved in the last years mainly due to AI capabilities to understand picture, text, etc… Most of the leaders when asked what they want to use AI, the answer is overwhelming for operational improvement (I will not give a specific source as this is covered by all the main consulting firms these days and the range between 80% to 93%).

We are committed to develop and help organizations at improving their operations and business results with the help of automation, process improvement and insightful dashboards. We believe our combined skills and experiences can help unlock new opportunities for our clients and facilitate the usability of automation in business processes.
